It's very different when it's a woman instead, considering he knows he has to be careful with his mannerisms. He has to treat them well, ensuring that they don't feel tense in any form around him. It's unbecoming of a guy to treat a lady without respect.
He doesn't know what to do with himself as she's seemingly pressing against his arm, but he doesn't mind at all. What's important to him is that she's comfortable and happy. So, eventually, he eases up and regains a better expression despite the blush across his face. He'll even pull her a little closer, just to share warmth against the freezing temperatures around them. ]
